Mr. America is sired by Georgetown's Music Man, full brother to Georgetown's Tom Cat.

Many people that knew the 2 ponies said Music man was the fancier of the two but he wasn't shown as much. What I know is Tom Cat was undeniably one of the greatest Modern Roadster ponies to hit the show ring.  Tom Cat was 5 time National Champion Roadster Pony, Pony of the Year, and earned a Hall of Fame. Both Georgetown's Tom Cat and Georgetown's Music Man are linebred 1/4 Curtiss-Frisco Pete and 3/16 Colonel Cody.

Curtiss-Frisco Pete is known to all Shetland breeders as "King of the Shetlands", he is 6 time Congress Grand Champion Stallion, Grand Champion Harness Pony and Congress Champion Get of Sire. Not only was he great but he produces great offspring. He was 4 times number 1 sire of Halter ponies, 3 times number 1 sire of Harness and Performance ponies, and 4 times a leading sire in both divisions. Colonel Cody was a Congress Champion in several driving styles and was a top sire of Harness ponies and top sire for the combined Halter/Harness division. Georgetown's Tom Cat sired Double Stuf (Congress Champion Modern Pleasure Stallion, Superior Sire, and Hall of Fame earner, in addition to titles in the PtHA - Champion of Champions Saddle Type Pony). Double Stuf sired Ken-Mar's Man (Multiple championships), and many other great ponies.

Now for the bottom side of Georgetown's Music Man and Tom Cat. Their dam is The Vindicator, dam of Georgetown's Johnny 2006 ASPR Performance Pony of the Year, Coronet's Trumpet Congress Champion Producer. The sire of The Vindictor is Burnt Hill's Frisco Jim who was Congress Champion in Halter and Roadster as well as an All Star Champion. All this is just from his sire's side.
Mr. America's dam is Rackin' Ridge's Queen B she is the grand daughter of the famed Hackney Stonehedge Torchfire and Rangemore's Rackin' Ridge Commander.
