Ask about our "Owner Select Foal" option or OSF.
An Owner Select Foal OSF is when a client selects one of our stallions and one of our mares and we do the breeding and care of
the mare and foal until weaning when the foal is ready for the client to pick them up; when the foal is 4 or 5 months old.
The Owner Select Foals are also eligible for the buckle incentive program.

LM Cadillac Jack

"Junior"

His mother (Ladys Moon Shadow) is a Kansas bred ranch mare with Lowery Hancock and Poco Debra on her papers. A good smart horse; all-round usin'  horse.

His sire (Eternal Parson Too) was bred by the Parson family of Oklahoma who bred good ranch type horses with paint coloring. Although purchased as a weanling by a couple in Florida and shown in Halter and Western Pleasure which he did very well at; his calling was something with more action.

Junior was bred and raised by our family. Michele broke him as a 2 yr. old  Then he was sent to Jack Henning for reining training. Jack told us we should geld him because there were too many stallions in the world. We asked Jack to ride him first before he passed judgments. Jack Rode him for a month and said he could pass for stallion material he was very smart and willing.  Jack said "Jr" had the most drive off the hind end as any horse he ever rode.

"Jr" was in training 4 months with Jack and was coming along great. Jack said we could probably start showing him a little by the end of his 5th month.   Well tragedy struck in that 5th month. Jack had to go to Texas to visit sick family and his hired hand was caring for the horses.  The young man was to feed and exercise the horses daily.  Well, he put "Jr" in the round pen and was doing a few roll backs when his front foot got caught under one of the boards.  There was no outward injury but he was lame. Our veterinary ultra sounded the leg and found the Suspensory tendon ripped.  No show career for "Jr".
