Ask about our "Owner Select Foal" option or OSF.
An Owner Select Foal OSF is when a client selects one of our stallions and one of our mares and we do the breeding and care of
the mare and foal until weaning when the foal is ready for the client to pick them up; when the foal is 4 or 5 months old.
The Owner Select Foals are also eligible for the buckle incentive program.

Taris Buck

"Buck"

His sire Jessie Rey Tari NCHA earnings over $230,000.  Jessie Rey Tari's sire is Doc Tari- whose offspring have NCHAearnings in excess of $4 million.

His dam (Haidas Peppy Mita) is a daughter of Haidas Little Pep, another leading cutting horse stallion Reserve World Champion with NCHA earnings of $425,174 and offspring earnings over $9.3 Million. Haidas Little Pep is sired by Peppy San Badger who is in the NCHA Hall of Fame and has over $20 Million in offspring earnings.

"Buck" was injured as a yearling. He tried to jump a barbed wire fence and cut his forearm to bone in one spot. Although his injury healed up OK he was sold because the owners didn't believe the leg would hold up to the riggers of cutting.
The next owner just used him as a trail horse and bred him to one Thoroughbred mare.  We purchased him in 2009.
We did not breed him that year because it was too late in the year, he is bred to only a handful of mares due to the down turn in the economy.
